Dr. Candice Peters

Candice Peters, Ph.D., born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, is an assistant professor of student affairs administration at Appalachian State University.

Dr. Peters recently graduated from Rowan University with a Ph.D. in Education and concentration in urban and diverse learning environments. Her work also foregrounds the realities and outcomes of systemically oppressed and institutionally excluded populations within the context of the academy.
